That might Not Qualify For Per Diem Reimbursement

Before we opened Saturday night, I answered the phone. The caller told me he had a problem. He had been in Monday night and charged over $9,000 to his company credit card. Now he was worried that he might get in trouble at work when they find out. He wanted to know if he could transfer the charge to his personal card.

It is something he will have to discuss with the office manager during business hours, but I wonder, would it ever be a good idea to charge $9,000 of strip club services to your employer? Does it take five days of pondering it to decide that it was a bad idea? I wonder if he has a wife that might also be very upset about a $9,000 strip club bill on his personal card. Tough choices, and hopefully lesson learned.

Yeah, my employer would probably go ahead and fire me for that.

Please expand. What does one get for $9,000?

LOL I wonder when he woke up and realized that he actually took his clinets to a strip club instead of a steak house?? Poor guy!

I want to be one of this guy's clients/associates!! I have never spent $9000 on anything except a house or car. $9000 at the club would have to have been pretty epic!

Laura, there are a few ways you can spend that much $$. I wasn't there so I don't know exactly, but I do know he took a few friends into the VIP Suite Skybox. It is $400 an hour per customer. So if there are 4 of them, we are talking $1600 an hour. They would probably have at least 4 dancers to entertain them and pay them a few hundred dollars an hour each as well. They probably had several bottles of champagne at strip club prices; hopefully a good tip for the waitress, and $9000 later, hopefully your joyful memories of the good time you had will tide you through the unemployment and/or divorce period when your boss and/or wife sees the bill.
